One tap. Their clock-in
is already recorded.
Workers see name, shift status, and one clear button — then a big clock-in time that's already recorded, with the last 5 entries below.
LapSense detects workers through attendance Wi-Fi sensors, verifies presence at the gate and work area, and gives HR a clean attendance record without installing an app.
When a worker's phone joins the attendance AP, LapSense opens a lightweight confirmation screen automatically. One tap confirms identity; missed taps are still handled by auto-confirm and safety checks.
Built for 300–3,000 workers: no mass install, no scan queue, still audited at gate + floor.
Workers see name, shift status, and one clear button — then a big clock-in time that's already recorded, with the last 5 entries below.
Still zero-install — workers open lapsense.local from their phone to review attendance, see their shift schedule, and manage their PIN. Everything runs on the factory Pi, even when the internet drops.
lapsense.local/me
Clock-in, clock-out, AP sightings, and monthly totals — all on one screen. "What time did I clock in?" tickets disappear.
lapsense.local/me/attendance
Confidence pill on every row. Workers confirm or submit an edit request inline. HR approves on a page — not over WhatsApp.
lapsense.local/me/profile
Identity, shift, active device, and PIN reset — all from a single captive link. HR no longer resets manually.
Attendance, AP status, device coverage, and local system logs stay visible even when internet drops.
Pis, APs, alerts, commands, and rollouts are visible without opening each site one by one.
Status, events, firmware, and sensor identity help localize network issues quickly.
On the first clock-in, the worker sees a clear consent screen: purpose of collection, 90-day retention, and the right to refuse. Refusing still lets them clock in — only the photo is skipped. Every consent is written to the audit log.
Buddy punching, gate-only check-ins, inflated overtime, and early departures all create payroll leakage. LapSense verifies whether a worker actually reached the work area, not just whether someone checked in at the gate.
Biometric units: Rp 7–13M each. Humid factory floors destroy them. Maintenance eats 10–20% of hardware cost annually.
Cloud-only attendance fails when internet drops. One outage = one full day of missing records.
The attendance AP detects the worker's phone as they enter or leave the factory gate.
A second sensor confirms the worker reached the assigned floor, line, or work zone.
The local Pi keeps records during internet outages and syncs clean data when the connection returns.
Expensive, fragile in factory conditions, and only prove gate entry — not actual work.
Requires every worker to install and maintain an app. Low adoption on factory floors with low-end phones.
Internet goes down, records disappear. Indonesian factory connectivity is unreliable.
Cards get lost, shared, and forgotten. One more thing for workers to carry and HR to manage.
You pay for the physical coverage you need and the number of active workers using the system.
Per gate, floor, or work zone covered by LapSense sensors. More coverage gives stronger verification.
Per registered worker whose attendance is tracked. Seasonal and inactive workers can be handled separately during rollout.
Pilot setup can be credited toward rollout if you continue after the trial.
No expensive biometric hardware · no card replacement cycle · no app rollout project
We install LapSense at one gate, show you the attendance data, and review whether the signal is strong enough for rollout.
